My name is Doris Forbes and I am a 56 year old woman and am single these days.

I have a 36 year old son Bruce and a 9 year old grandson Conal living in England.

My daughter Leah is 27 years old, lives close by and is unmarried.

I am very much a people person and love meeting people of different nationalities. Have learnt so much and met so many from different countries without ever having left New Zealand. It broadens ones horizons and makes one more tolerant to different customs.

I work as a customer services person in a large busy call centre for a clothing mail order company that encompasses Australasia. I have worked there for 11 years now.

• I love reading books, baking cakes etc and spending time with friends.
• I am also involved with the local civil defense as a radio operator and done this for the past 12 years.
• Animals: I have always had a great affinity with animals and have two at home. My cat Zac is a very cuddly boy and just loves snuggling up to me, and usually sleeps on my bed at night.
  My dog Sakura { Japanese Akita} is a lovely girl. Just like a child at times and answers back if told off when naughty. Yes, she does talk in her own way.
